What do students enjoy the most about Memorial’s music program?
“It is the one class I enjoy above all… if you have a class you enjoy a lot, it helps in all the other areas of school.”
“You get to enjoy doing something you love in a class, meeting awesome new friends, and going to exciting events.”
Don’t miss this opportunity to be a part of an enjoyable & rewarding experience at MCHS! Students may wish to enroll in more than one course for additional credits. Please contact the Music Department for details.
All music students have the opportunity to participate in trips, tours, festivals, and concerts. Because of this, there are ongoing music program fundraising efforts organized by the Music Parents Association.
While we encourage all students to purchase their own instruments, we have the following available for rent:
- Alto clarinet
- Bass clarinet
- Contra-alto clarinet
- Tenor saxophone
- Baritone saxophone
- Baritone tuba
The rental fee for the year is $50.
